8 weeks!

Wow, I can’t believe that I am 8 weeks! I am soooo glad that this is going by fairly quickly, I absolutely HATE the first few weeks. It is absolute torture not being able to hear the baby’s heartbeat with my doppler whenever I want. I am anxious to be at the stage where I can feel those wonderful little kicks and know that everything is ok!

I feel so bad for not writing yet, I feel like a bad blogger. So much happened the last two weeks. Here’s a short recap.

• Went on vacation. Had totally amazing time with hubby and son. (Pictures coming soon)
• Proceed home. Car breaks down. Apparently something blew up and car is now totaled. Meaning we have no car. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• WONDERFUL relatives pay for us a hotel, rental car, and tow service to get us across 2 states to get home.

Because of this, I had to  miss my doctors appt. I was able to reschedule it for the second I got home, but I was so upset. Not to mention that I feared that all the crazy stress was detrimental for the baby.

Well, we got to see our little one. It was so precious! It blows my mind how quickly they change, we could see it wiggling around in there doing somersaults

We also got to see it’s little heart beating away. DH says it looks like a girl lol. I told him he’s gonna feel bad if it’s a boy, because people are always thinking Nathan is a girl, and it drives us crazy lol

Anyways, my dr’s ultrasound machine is like 3,000 years old, so he is sending me to get a good ultrasound tomorrow! He said I will get some good pictures, I’m just praying I don’t get that snarky *%$@^ from last time. Dh and I have already decided to say something before she even gets started if we get her again. I’m not risking not getting any pictures again.

One last note, the morning sickness has kicked in BIG TIME. I was never this sick with Nathan, I’m literally zonked by 3pm each day. At least it’s a good sign, right? lol
